Overview

The half day will be interactive and enjoyable using many methods of teaching e.g power point presentations, scenarios, storytelling, and questions and answers.

The use of questions and answers will give direct feedback to aid understanding and all delegates will be encouraged to participate within the session.

Content

The following topics will be covered:

  • New information
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Emergency contraception
  • Injectable contraception
  • Combined oral contraception (new pills)
  • Progesterone oral contraception (new pills)

All presentations are based on the most up to date information from the College of sexual and reproductive care, product guidelines and any other pertinent research.
