Suitable for those who are NEW to immunisation.

Pre-course Requirement

Completion of ELFH Immunisations e-learning modules or ICB immunisation training.

Course Overview

• Principles of safe vaccine administration
• Injection sites and techniques (intramuscular, subcutaneous )
• Equipment selection and safe handling
• Infection prevention and control measures
• Management of sharps and disposal
• Recognising and managing adverse reactions
• Post-vaccination care and documentation

Note: All participants must complete the ELFH (e-Learning for Healthcare) Immunisation Training before attending, with immunisations specific to their role.
