3 Hour Online Child Immunisation Updates for experienced practitioners (usually nurses, nursing associates and pharmacists) delivering child imms already (NWL run course- follow links below to register)

Objectives for the sessions:

To ensure practice is evidence-based and both safe and effective
To examine recent and possible future changes to the routine immunisation schedule
To examine the range of vaccines that are routinely offered to children and young people
To gain an awareness of the issues surrounding a decline in pre-school childhood immunisations, including coverage and the associated risks and the issue of misinformation and disinformation
To consider professional & ethical issues in relation to delivering the child immunisation programme including the importance of communication, barriers, risk, assessment, administration technique and legal frameworks
