Aims and Objectives of Training Programme  

  • To empower and increase the confidence of Health Care Assistants who work with patients with Diabetes  
  • To improve Diabetes services and outcomes using care pathways  
  • To gain an understanding of the care pathways for people with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, the screening tasks involved and key lifestyle messages to help support people achieve their individual goals
