- A series of four interactive sessions focused on key Quality Improvement methods in healthcare.
- Covers practical skills including aim setting, identifying measures, and testing small changes.
- Introduces tools such as the Model for Improvement, process mapping, and value stream mapping.
- Sessions led by an experienced healthcare QI facilitator.
- Ongoing guidance provided to help shape and progress individual projects.
- Opportunities to collaborate with peers and apply learning to real scenarios.
QI Project Work
- Participants will carry out a small QI project within their own work setting.
- Projects should focus on achievable changes – such as improving patient or staff experience, safety, or efficiency.
- No need to have a fully formed idea at the start; inspiration can come from service data, patient feedback, or team discussions.
Outcome
- Deeper understanding of key QI tools and how to use them in practice.
- Hands-on experience applying techniques to real workplace challenges.
- Support to develop a poster presentation of their project for potential sharing at events or conferences.
